This just goes to prove a point. America is destined to failure because the people who live here continuously vote for the asshats that have no idea what the hell they are doing...
Hayden is the second chair of the NSA. He has NO FREAKING CLUE what the 4th amendment is all about. To quote him: "If there is one amendment that we at the NSA know intimately, its the 4th" and then he goes on to misquote it, and even argue that "Probable Cause" is nowhere in the 4th amendment.
Oh, and for those 80% of you in the U.S. who dont know your constitutional history, the Fourth Amendment is the one that protects you from unreasonable search and seizure, requireing a warrant to search that includes Probable Cause.
Just one more reason why this administration is trampling on our civil rights as well as our constitutional rights.
First, Read the Fourth Amendment:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
And now, go watch Mr. Michale Hayden, Deputy Director of National Intelligence prove that he has NO CLUE what the Fourth Amendment means or even says, so from his POV, the NSA is NOT violating our civil rights:
