Of ghosts, warships and blogs

Spent the weekend in Wilmington. It was busy but fun, and I really wish we could have spent more time there.

Saturday we went to the Battleship North Carolina park/memorial and toured the Battleship for a few hours. You have no idea how big those things are until you are standing on the deck looking up at the 50 some foot long barrel of a 16 inch gun.

Dinner at Sticky Fingers was excellent as usual. I recommend them anytime you are near one, for the best ribs in the known galaxy.

After dinner, we took the Haunted Wilmington Ghost Walk. It was educational and hella fun. And our tour guide was a pirate; what more could you ask for?

Sunday we went to the NC Aquarium located at Fort Fisher. Definitely one of the nicer aquariums I have been to.

And soon, I may be switching from Greymatter to something database driven. I haven't yet decided if I am going to change blogging software, or completely revamp the site using something like phpNuke... so changes may happen soon, or not soon... but hopefully they will happen before too long.

Oh, and on a personal note, I start ground school on Thursday... Flying Finally!!!
